CREATIVE EXPRESSION PART II

Part II - Creative Expression

In this section of the final project you will be using a creative expression to communicate the work you have done in Part I.   This means that you may focus on all elements of the project or some of the elements (issue research, solution, action plan).

The creative expression must inform the public and motivate activism.  Some options include:

  • A flyer or threefold pamphlet
  • A transcript of a speech that would be delivered at a meeting or action
  • Creative writing such as a poem or diary entries
  • A collage
  • A letter to the people/groups/institutions responsible for the problem
  • A news article that a journalist might write about the issue
  • An editorial or cartoon that supports your work
  • Any other artistic expression (sculptures, models, mobiles, paintings, drawings, dioramas)

Part II - Criteria

  • Clearly communicates key aspect(s) of your project.
  • Clearly is designed to inform and to inspire participation in your effort to achieve solution.
  • For expressions that rely on visuals, be sure the work is aesthetically pleasing.
  • For written expressions, be sure the work is well written with no errors in spelling and conventions.
