MORE INSTRUCTIONS FOR PEACE CONFERENCE

1.  We will start our conference on April  28/29 and we will begin with opening statements.
2.  You will need all of your delegation's proposals completed by then.  Remember all 6 issues need to be addressed in your proposals.  This doesn't mean that you are required to have 6 separate proposals.
3.  Be sure that the proposals are legible and written in pen or dark pencil.  This is to assure that the copies can be read.
4.  By the end of today, April 23/24, be sure that one of your delegates has volunteered  to make the opening statement.  This statement must include:

*  An introduction of the group or party you represent.
*  The concerns you have about the ongoing conflict.
*  Your goals for the conference.  This means what you want to accomplish for the people you represent.
*  Do not include specific proposals.

4.  This may meet a student's 1 minute speech requirement.  If the student delivering the statement does not choose to give the 1 minute speech in the opening session,  the statement must be at least 30 seconds long.
